Heute habe ich ein schönes Sockengarn gefunden und habe nun die Qual der Wahl, welches der vielen schönen Muster ich stricken soll. Einige sind in die engere Auswahl gekommen:
Baudelaire wollte ich ja immer schon mal stricken, Hedera habe ich wegen der grünen Wolle im Kopf und Monkey finde ich ebenfalls sehr interessant. Ich möchte am liebsten ein Muster stricken, was ich noch nicht gestrickt habe, damit es auch für mich spannend zu stricken ist. In diesem Buch sind auch noch einige Muster, die noch ausprobiert werden könnten:
Da hätte ich die Uptown Boot Socks zur Auswahl oder die Waving Lace Socks, für die ich kein Bild finde, das ist ein Lochmuster, was wellenförmig die Socken überzieht.

Baudelaire, Hedera which fits with the green yarn Monkey is an interesting pattern. I prefer to knit a pattern which is new for me, so knitting stays interesting for me, in the book there are two patterns, which I could choose also:
Uptown Boot Socks or Waving Lace Socks.

Nachtrag: Die Waving Lace socks sind auf dem Buchtitel, ich Depp. Das übersetze ich jetzt nicht, ich weiss nämlich nicht, wie Depp auf englisch heisst. Arrrgh

Schöne Wolle, tolle Muster, aber schwere Entscheidung. So geht es mir auch meistens. Ich kann mich einfach nicht entscheiden 🙁

Ohhh..I have that book too and I LOVE the patterns. It is a must-buy (IMHO). I think uptown boots in the megaboots stretch would be fun. But the truth is any of these patterns will be great and all of the yarns are lovely–you can’t go wrong no matter what you choose. Happy Knitting!

I’ve always wanted to make the Baudelaire socks, so I’d vote for those in the red.
I agree, those are all very nice patterns … anyone would love a pair of any of those socks. 🙂 But I have knit the Waving Lace socks and am currently knitting a pair of Monkey socks and I can vouch that those are very pleasurable patterns to knit.
